Are you an Auto-Xer, or have you ever wanted to get into Auto-Xing? Well here’s your excuse to get started! The CCA is organizing a National Auto-X Series to allow you to compete against other Corrado’s from all over North America. We have worked out a formula that will standardize the results from different events and keep the standings competitive. However, you don’t need to worry about that. All you need to do is simply fill out a registration form, which includes the times for the event, for each event that you enter. Mail it in to us and we will let you know how you are doing. At the end of the season we will calculate all of the results and award Prizes for the Best Driver Overall, Rookie of the Year, Most Improved Driver, Most Cones hit & Most Spins (for the less talented) and 1st & 2nd for each of the six classes. With a little help from some VW Tuners we should get some awesome prizes to give out. If you have any questions about this series or Auto-Xing in general, please feel free to give us a call!
Official Rules
Your honesty is of utmost importance! If you decide to cheat, you will be taking the fun out of the events, and ruining it for others! If you are caught, cheating you will not be allowed to participate in any future CCA competitive events.
You may register at anytime throughout the season. We will only use five events to determine the winners for the season. Do not submit applications for more than five events. Each additional event that is submitted will be disregarded.
Results and registrations from each event must be postmarked within 30 days after the event. Any registration forms postmarked more than 30 days from the event will be disqualified. This is important to keep the competition fair.
Trophies and Prizes will be awarded for the following Classes:
A. SLC: Stock, Street Prepared, and Modified
B. G60: Stock, Street Prepared, and Modified
C. Rookie of the Year
D. Most Improved Driver
E. Fastest Overall
The CCA MotorSports magnet, as well as any and all decals from any potential sponsors must be displayed on the car at every event.
In order to receive an award, at some point in the season the CCA must receive a picture of your car at an Auto-X with all of our Sponsors Stickers (magnets) on the car. If you do not have all of the required stickers, you will be disqualified.
If it becomes necessary, the CCA may request the official time sheets from the club holding the event.
Classification
The CCA Motorsport Classes are as follows:
SLC Stock (VS): Any stock OEM diameter sized wheel with OEM sized DOT approved tires, Any ECU Chip, any airbox mods, any front stress bar, Stock Sway bars ONLY!, Must have a cat and muffler.
SLC Street Prepared (VSS): Any suspension mods including shocks, springs, and sway bars, Cams, bored throttle body, Any wheel that is has a smaller diameter or wider width than OEM wheels with DOT approved tires, Headers or no cat.
SLC Modified (VM): Any engine mods including polished heads or modified Intake (Polished or VSR), Displacement increases, Turbos or Superchargers, stripped interiors, and any type of Coilover Suspension, Non DOT approved tires.
G60 Stock (GS): Same as SLC
G60 Street Prepared (GSS): Same as SLC plus smaller pulley for the G charger, any Stage I, II, II mods.
G60 Modified (GM): Any engine mods including polished heads, displacement increases, modified G Chargers, any other supercharger, larger than OEM intercooler, stripped interiors, and any coilover type suspension, Non DOT approved tires.
