HOW TO FIX AUTOMATIC SEATBELTS

Answer:

This is the procdure to fixing the automatic seatbelts in a 90-94 corrado.First you have to remove the back door panel of either rt or left side.Second their is the bolt that hold the motor to the rear body panel remove that bolt. Then remove the round shape cover off of the backside of the motor.Next you'll see a cable pull on it till the seatbelt buckle returns to standing position,Then check the cable for tears or rips, If you find some rips take a razor knife and trim only the area that is damaged.

Then finally take the cable and pull it back through till it reaches the open position.Last lube the cable housing with some bearing gease;and also put the metal hook back into one of the slots that makes it snug in housing then replace cap quickly at an angle so the hook won't come undone.Then replace panel and rock and roll!!!
