Well, this was just one our local Ottawa events throughout the summer. We had a turnout of about 14 corrados. We had 3-4 people drive up from Montreal (thanks for the pictures Richard!), 2 from Toronto including Paul Lim in his VR6 Turbo and the rest were the Nations Capital locals. We were all parked in one section, we had a lot of people stop by and recruited 5 new members. We even donated a CCA shirt for the draw! As we made our exit, the lead boy (Robin the psycho kid) made an exit that turned just a few heads as he laid down a smoking strip of rubber.
Heading towards Mike Ericksons place (about a 15 minute drive) through the back coutry raods in a line of 7-8 corrados was have reached some interesting speeds. During this convoy, we have lost Willaim Le (from Montreal in a rented Jetta) and the host of the upcoming BBQ, Mike E. Also olong the way, a skunk was kit and one of our fellow drivers blew a tire (and believe it or not, none of stopped to help in our haste to get to Mikes place). Eventually we went back to find the lost corrado and help out.
The BBQ was wonderful and upon leaving, a bet was made to lay a certain strip of rubber in front of Mikes house.... the bet was lost.
The next event should be lots of fun!
