REMOVING INTERCOOLER

Yep, a few of us on the list did this about 3-4 months ago. It involves removing the front bumper (4 large bolts) and detaching the chin spoiler then presto... everything comes apart.

I don't remember the steps all *too* well (ok it being 3am isn't helping either). But I think it went something like this:

-remove driver's side plastic wheel well cover thing and brake ducts
-remove bumper markers, front signals and fogs
-remove chin spoiler (something like 8 bolts underneath)
-remove screws from
-then there are 4 large bolts (no clue what size) that look like they hold the engine up, but they dont. 2 per side, remove, then the bumper just pulls off.
-now just remove the 3 or 4 bolts in the back of the intercooler, the one in front holding it on and the two boost hoses and it should just pull right off.

I flushed mine with gas until clean, it was rather oily and greasy.

It was fairly easy with dad there to help me with everything (and not dropping the bumper on the cement, NO MORE PAINT JOBS for the DAMN front bumper already!)
