Changing the Ignition Switch and fixing the Lock Cylinder (Key Ignition) Method Number 2.

I went and bought a new plastic module, when I really didn't need to.

(G60) may apply to VR6

1. Remove steering wheel by popping off horn cover and removing the bolt.
2. Remove plastic column cover, 2 bolts from underneath then it snaps apart into a top and bottom
3. Remove steering column arms assy by removing 3 screws and sliding off column
4. Remove 2 bolts that hold the ignition switch assembly bracket to the steering column
5. Disconnect the ignition switch wire plug
6. Pull the bracket towards you , off the column, there is a spring loaded bolt so it may take a bit of effort but it pulls strait off
7. remove the one screw holding the plastic piece to the metal bracket.
8. Replace.

Mine did not need replacing, all I did was add 2 washers to the small screw and took about .5 mm off of the face and putsid ring and two plastic things that poked up, i did this with a small file. this allowed the plastic switch to sit in as far as possible and i was able to screw it down so there was no play. the car starts every time.
